must include a lovely act of kindness form last week...
during the birmingahm icecapades... whole of brum came to stand still last week, due to snow, ice and not enough grit on the roads... and i kid you not when i say stand stilll... a 20 min journey for dh, me, and dd took 4 half hours!!!...

anyway to cut a very very long story short... we were almost home though the roads were absolutely treachourous, 2 mph in first gear when we got stuck on the tiniest slope in the universe...

wheels were spinning, car slowly sliding etc... but luckily a family were stood by this junction (where we were stuck) with bits of carpet and gravel and spent 10 mins trying to get us to move... picking up soil in their hands chucking it under our wheels, trying to get us some grip with their bits of carpet... trying to push the car... and we did eventually move ... but what a lovely thing to do... on a freezing weds evening at 8:30!

i'm just sorry that i never took their number so i could pop round with the apple pie!!! but it does restore your faith in humanity... i know cheesy! but true!!! :0

Well...hate to say it, but that site is VERY American isn't it? They made a move of Pay it Forward, think I just saw it. Well, I don't know about you Coddy, but I do each and every one of these things every day!!! It cracks me up that these are listed as KIND things!!LOL at everyone's comments! Just normal decent manners I would say and being responsible for your family and friends well-being. Pretty scary actually the thought that someone would have to read these to know what to do.

I love stuffing the neighbor's post box with Apple Pie CD, the Ghetto tickled me too as I was reading it! Thank God I don't have a Ghetto to go to--I would be feeling really guilty by now!
