do you ever wonder that if your children had been conceived at a slightly different time, they could be completley different children?

Now I'm wondering whether this thread would have turned out differently if it had been originally placed under religion/philosophy/spirituality... Smile

I think this goes along with the concept of spirit babies (there's a thread on this under philosophy/religion). I really believe that we get the little spirits we are meant to have. Of course, I agree with you on the physical attributes being dependent on the particular sperm and egg genetics at the time, but our physical appearance and who we really "are" are 2 different things. Although certainly one can influence the other IYKWIM.

well sorry to be a kill joy but yes if my dd had be born a day earlier or later maybe a different midwife would have been on and monitored her and got her out quicker and no cpSad
but then she wouldn't be my dd

Who knows the answer? i agree that sometimes we can think TOO much and over analyse things, i am a "think too much" type of person always have been, and i think you can send yourself doolally with what ifs.

who thinks of this kind of stuff?

man, if it weren't meant to be, then it wouldn't have come to pass in this case.

i honestly never stopped to think about stuff like this, tbh.
