Yes, they do great pushchairs, that have a built-in buggy board. IIRC, it cost about 6 euros to hire for the day, but worth every penny, dds were 6 and 4 at the time, dd2 had't been in a buggy for at least a year, but they were both grateful to be able to have a ride. And it was useful for dumping bags etc.
We were there last May by the way.

thanks a lot!!
my children are 3 and 5, but the little one will prob get tired and ratty after a couple of hours, so a buggy will make life easier!!!- and for bags.
Not booked yet but hoping to go before june.
thanks again for your help.

We wanted to do the same thing but in Disneyland Florida. Does anyone know if we can hire one there as opposed to taking our own or we were even thinking of buying one when we arrived.

Hi - I'm also considering taking my two children to eurodisney this year, they'll be 3 & 5 aswell - but I wondered if they were too young, and if it would be a waste of money if they couldn't go on many rides - I was thinking of a 3-4 night break - any opinions from anyone who's already been with young kids would be greatly appreciated - thanks

We took my two when they were 4 and 1. Obviously the 1 year old was in the pushchair most of the time but he came on a couple of the slow/gentle things with us. Otherwise dh went with ds1. Ds1 could get on most things as he is reasonably tall for his age. There were a few that he was under the height restriction but he was very happy with the stuff he could go on. He absolutely loved it and still remembers it all. Am waiting till ds2 is around 4 before we'd consider going back again.

Thanks kayleigh, I may wait until they're 4 & 6, my 3yr old DS is quite hard work at the moment, so would probably be sensible to give it another year. I'll have to start saving hard as I'd love to stay in the disneyland hotel - my DD would just love it.

mrsjingles, I would have loved to stay in the park too. But when we worked it out we just couldn't justify spending that sort of money. We stayed in a lovely hotel (think it was Holiday Inn) about a 10 minute drive away. It was clean and cheap in comparison and suited as down to the ground as we were really only sleeping in it and at the park all day.
It was also nice to stroll around the little village in the early evening as I felt we were really in France, which I certainly didn't feel like in the Eurodisney park.

mrsjingles · 04/02/2004 12:38

That is true Kayleigh - I haven't dared look at the price yet for the hotels in the park - It would be an idea to compare with hotels just outside and I'm sure my sensible side would prevail!! Did you drive on the tunnel thingy??

Kayleigh · 04/02/2004 18:55

We did drive on the tunnell thingy

We did it again last summer when we drove to Le Touquet for a few days. It is wonderful. Really quick and easy. You get the kids Burger King and some sweets at the terminal. Let them eat in the car. And by the time you are wiping up the mess you're in France !!!!!!!!!!!
It is quite a long drive down to disney though from the tunnell so you may want to work out a stop somewhere for a couple of hours on the way.

tunnel with one "l" obviuosly !

Kayleigh · 04/02/2004 18:56

"obviously"...I give up
