Please give me some ideas for children's party games (7 years old)

Pass the parcel is dire, musical statues ends in punch ups. DS party (7) is next week and I'm trying to put together a military schedule so that I don't have to think or respond or be spontaneous, I can just work my way through the list. Mostly boys there and lots of the prizes will have an England / World cup theme (because that's what was going cheap in the market today), but am wondering about games that don't require too much energy and stamina and nerves of steel from adults. Any suggestions?

can you get hold of a parachute? lots of good games with those. if you can get one I'll post some games. saw a good variation on musical statues that avoids punch ups - the "stillest" statue gets a lollipop and everyone keeps dancing until everyone's got a lollipop - no loosers, no sitting out, everyone gets a lolly. You can also - if you're vindicative - take the piss a bit - hand them a lolly and when they move to take it off you you say "ahhhh, moved, can;t have it" - it takes a while but eventually they get the idea that they have to stay absolutely still and let you put the lolly in their hnad. It's very entertaining. Do you have enough space for games with a football? you can do those relay type races where 2 teams each stand in a line, the person at the front passes the ball back down the line, the ball has to go over the head, then next person passes it between their legs etc, when it gets to the back the person runs to the front, keep going until team it back in original places. I used to love that as a kid. Also dodge ball - two adults roll the ball, kids have to jump over it (need to mark out some sort of area) - if the ball touches them they're out and they join in the rolling

Parachutes are great, you can get them at ELC and will last for years
