I know it is stressful but look at the big picture. You will be in your new house soon and you will be happy and you will laugh about all of this.... Smile Like I now do about all of our problems last October!

EvesMama · 30/05/2006 08:30

have realised why im SO stressed about this..
have got second app at breast clinic today, two weeks earlier than they told me i woulShock, dont know if its cos i said we were moving on date they wanted me to go back in or theres something wrong?..tomorrow im supposed to be going to a group cbt session and i have no one to have dd so i can go, so my head remains in the shed!...now the move..the only thing i thought was sorted and in the bag is rapidly going tits up and theres nothing i can do to stop it and wether a kick and scream, if it cant be done it cant be done, but i do actually feel as if im gunna throw up thinking about itSad..am ringing solicitor in half an hour, but i know she wont ring me back till at least 10.30 cos she does other stuff till thenSad
god i wish i could cope better!

evesmama-have you rung the solicitor? how did you get on?

cece · 30/05/2006 16:24

What did the solicitor say?

I didn't know you could have group CBT - I had mine on my own. Can't a neighbour have dd or maybe a local childminder you know for a couple fo hours? That is what I did when I had CBT. I know a couple of cm from school so farmed dd and ds out to them for a couple of hours each time!

EvesMama · 30/05/2006 20:37

dont know anyone round here and TBH i think id best wait for my 1 to 1 sessions as my visit to hosp today wasnt what id hoped so my heads all over the place and although tomorrow may help, the hassle of sorting out someone to take care off dd for 4 hours is just about to tip me over edge(as primrose off fi fi and flower tot says." I AM NOT HAVING A GOOD DAY!)
im going to ring her in morn and explain.
erm..oh yes solicitor..they arn't bloody open!Angry something to do with law society and not opening day after bank hol..arrrgh

Can you visit the solicitor in their office?

Hate to say it but this is not looking good... What does your agent say? They get paid a lot of money shouldn't they be sorting this out???

MissChief · 31/05/2006 12:19

can you ask for the vendor's number and speak to her (as calmly as you can - a nightmare, I know!) direct? Think it would really help - not enough communication going on here thro that chain - agents prob making it worse!

EvesMama · 31/05/2006 22:23

woman at top of chain not got a house to move into/buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
agent didnt even know this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
solicitor only found this out today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

told agent that our vedor looking again and asked her to speak to them letting them know if they start again it will be much longer than the proposed 6 weeks, so whynot wait..agent said oh yeah..never thought of that!!!!!!!!WTF

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhh

Things are getting stressful evesmama!

Top of chain could rent. Puts them in excellent position to buy - like we did.

Speak to your vendor personnaly - sort it out between you.

Open a bottle of wine and drink copiously.

Problems solved Smile

EvesMama · 01/06/2006 08:17

hiya cece..have spoken to my vendor almostevery day..she says they cant move out as they have 4 children and one of them (late teens) is pregnant. i DO understand but i cant help feleing that if it was me who'd already lost two sales, i move out?..dont know if they want to re advertise house and sell for more as houses up road are going for more but they have a better quality fixture and fittings, larger garden, drive and garage..where as ours is fab, there are things that will need doind and the garage has to be pulled down, with no drive cos its shared and theres a fence down the middle.
oh..really i am devastatedSad..still dont know where we stand?, wether they are looking for something else(told agent to ring them and ask if they understand any new house sale would be longer than proposed 6 weeks??)
have to ring all bill people today to cancel new address for nowSad..still cant start c.minding, still having nitemare getting dd to school..sigh

House buying is madness in this country it needs sorting out!

lucykate · 01/06/2006 11:26

oh evesmama, i can sympathise with you, and can see why you're getting so stressed and frustrated. we're moving soon too, from lancs to rutland, and its all up in the air as far as dates go. everyone was aiming for the 16th june, but the house we're buying which is the top of the chain are dragging their feet so much, its looking unlikely. the rest of the chain is waiting to exchange. my dh is doing his nut because he's already down there and is sick of driving up and down the m6 and being away from us so much.

have you started packing?, i haven't yet and get a headache just thinking about it.

EvesMama · 01/06/2006 11:54

my whole house is packedSad

most of dd's toys Sad

just had call from agent..slightly good news..our vendor has agreed that if all can be made official, they will also wait until 17th July..but..agent has to contact thier vendor to see if they all=so agree???

never again..never again!!!!
