thought we were back on the subject of losing weight again[ grin] I thought you meant sunk it by bouncing on it too much and being too heavy. LOL!

spidermama · 18/05/2006 19:14

I made the mistake of having a go on my friend's trampoline recently. Do you know what it does to your pelvic floors post birth? Blush

i exploded a bouncy castle at softplay a while back.

a bit embarassing, that Blush

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 22:32

Filyjonk - sorry but I am Grin

Milliways · 18/05/2006 22:51

We considered it...... for about 10 mins Grin

A 14' diameter hole, 4' deep - how much earth???

Also, hate to think what animals would get under it, & my dog running doen the garden suddenly bouncing over the hedge!!

Still, the squirrels would have fun bouncing from one tree to the next.

At least free standing we can move it every few weeks to help the grass, or if we want to have a large game of football etc.

Sparkler I thought the same as you I had a you've been framed type incident in mind Grin.

chjlly · 18/05/2006 22:54

surely the safety net would be better which ever as they could still hurt themselves bouncing off a sunken trampoline?

Skribble · 18/05/2006 22:56

controlfreaky2 · 18/05/2006 22:56

me. we have sunken 12' one. is brilliant. got professional to dig it out though. if you can do it is much safer and lot less ugly than freestanding with safety net

moondog · 18/05/2006 23:00

What's all this wussy talk about safety nets??
Nowt like that in my day (which is probably why i fell of one of the bloody things and snapped top of my humerus clean away.)

controlfreaky2 · 18/05/2006 23:02

exactly... 3 friends of ds's have boken arms bouncing of (non sunken) trampos
ps is all true re pelvic floor

singersgirl · 18/05/2006 23:03

My brother has a sunken one, put in professionally/ by sunken trampoline expert. They did it because elder niece broke her arm falling off an unfenced trampoline.

singersgirl · 18/05/2006 23:03

Also true re pelvic floor.

moondog · 18/05/2006 23:04

What's that??
Piss is all true of pelvic floor?!

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 23:06

aw that's cute Skribble

controlfreaky2 · 18/05/2006 23:08

piss is about right md re pelvic floor.... post childbirth pelvic floors cant withstand bouncing on trampo.... distinct danger of pissing yourself (especially if someone makes you laugh)

Skribble · 18/05/2006 23:10

You could always try \link{http://www.veryfunnypics.com/pics/gender/images/zzzzfunny-trampoline.gif\this method}.

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 23:16

JUICE - have you found the answer you are looking for yet? Grin

fattiemumma · 18/05/2006 23:17

ok i may be being thick here but, surely there wont be much of a bounce if its sunk down? i mean the elastic has nowhere to strecth.

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 23:18

PMSL fm Grin very true!

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 23:19

but if it is sunk it won't need a safety net - no chance of bouncing off! Smile

Skribble · 18/05/2006 23:26

\link{http://mgoin.com/Trampoline/\does this explain it?}

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 23:30
