I didn't have a clue what to call my DS. I had plenty of girls name choices though. When I was a week off delivery date, I said in a weary voice to my DD (aged 4). Oh dear, what are we gonna call this kid if its a boy?? She just said 'how about Lawrence?'. I just said 'yeah, that'll do'. So we got a Lawrence, now aged 14 and known to his teenage mates as Lol.
