and it takes up sooo much room. i am undecided about what to do with it. the plan was, when they are too old for it then i would work on it for grandkids. Its a handmade house, which is covered in matchsticks so its has a tudor-ish feel about it. it is huuuge. I got it a few years ago when we lived in a larger flat (yes, a 2 bed flat was bigger than our current 3 bed bungalow). But now its just cluttering up the room. dd3 likes it as well.

oh what to do, i just dont know.

If you can put up with it and the lack of space, I would keep it. Maybe when they stop playing with it, slyly pass it on to someone else.

i think i'm going to try and squeeze into the playhouse in the garden. its quite old. i bought it from a man who made it for his children and then his grandchildren played with it. its currently looking very 70's inside lol. but its sooo solid. dd1+2 have climbed on it in their games.

Keep it if you can Misdee. My mum & dad made one for my sister & I back in the 70's & it is huge too.About 4ft x 18".They renovated it for my dd's & it is on its way here soon.
The dd's play with it all the time at my parents,so although it will take up precious room in our smaller house,I can't not keep it.

I'm planning on keeping it for possible grandchildren too.I have my grandads toy farm from the turn of the century & the dd's will have that too.I'ts nice to think that they'll be playing with the same toys that their ancestors did.
