Dress is ballerina length and white and sort of Grace Kellyish - sequinned rouched bodice with tafetta skirt so not sure whether to do 50ish a la

I had a 50ish style dress and went really plain and simple on the shoes.

Something similar to \link{http://www.weddingshoesdirect.co.uk\Clare on here}.

Thanks Jools!! Grin

I feel like I am already married to be honest I would be quite happy just me and DP sneaking off and doing the whole thing on the quick and saviong lots but his mum and nan and DD would never forgive us.

He just thrown a strop cause I said we were having an early night cause we so tired and he still needs to have a shave as has meeting tomorrow - god what am I doing marrying him!!!

lovely dress, how exciting!!!

Dottydot · 10/05/2006 21:49

Fantastic - are you all organised (I think we should have a wedding section for me to ask endless questions and get hysterical that I've sorted out nothing so far for our do in July...)

pipo · 10/05/2006 21:56

Love the dress-choose the comfiest shoes.

Twinkie1 · 11/05/2006 10:23

Dottydot - the most we have done for is the hen and stag - we have both had nights out and I am off with 17 friends to Barcelona soon and DP is off to Slovakia white water rafting with some of his mates (not as many as me though as I have revelled in the fact that I am far mnore popular than him!!!)

Going to sort out food and stuff with the venue this weekend.

Got to burn a CD for the registry office and decide on either Alisha Keys or Carly Simon song for our first dance and then sort out something for the kids to wear and for DP oh and confirm stuff with the photographer - so still lots to do as well as all of the finishing things like balloons and table decs and stuff!!

But sod it am going to the park today with friends and DS to get a tan!!!

(Oh shit actually I have to nip to Woolwich sometime today as I have MISLAID the wedding authorities!!! Shock!!)

I loved all the shoes Twinkie but would have said it depended on what sort of dress you were having.
So having seen the dress, which btw is stunning, I would go for the sandal ones "Lolita" or the 3rd choice "Harlow".

puff · 11/05/2006 10:27

Beautiful dress - if you can, order your two favourite pairs and choose the comfiest as they are all lovely, although I think the first pair would work best with the dress.

I loved my wedding shoes, but they were agony after about 2 hours!
