I swore I would not have another baby after the birth of ds1 but then I had ds2!
I swore I would not have another after ds2 but already I feel myself thinking about doing it again!! what is wrong with me?!
Anyway, I just wanted to know how old you all were when you had your kids. I am 35 now, I know it is not ancient but I want to hear from people who had their kids later than that annd if they felt totally knackered being older, etc.
cheers.

I was 5 months away from 39 when I hadd dd2 (she's 13.5mths) and yes, I do feel totally knackered a lot of the time, but that's because I'm a person who really needs her sleep and I haven't had a full night's worth for a long time now...

She is so completely worth it though Smile.

NotAnOtter - congrats on your newest baby :) Enjoy - it goes so quickly (but you don't need me to tell you that, do you?Wink . My little one is 2 nearly 3 now. I used to wonder when those 'feelings' would go - still have them now and again but my 4 teens are doing a good job of keeping them under control for me:o

31 when DS#1 was born (a month off my 32nd birthday)
34 when DD was born.
38 when DS#2 was born. He was an 'accident' but much loved nevertheless. However with hindsight I I don't think I would have chosen to do that as I found the pregnancy really hard with 2 LOs already and still working full-time. There was also a soft marker for Downs which showed up at my 20 week scan which along with my age made the risk quite high. Terrified me and definitely overshadowed the rest of the pregnancy. Not saying that there is likely to be any problems but increased maternal age does hold some minor risk.
