QE · 07/05/2006 23:09

I take exception to fattiemumma's post.

I spent 5 years on "the dole" when I was abandoned with 3 kids by a fuckwit of a dh who thought it a good idea to screw his work colleague and pretend his kids did not exist.

veNivIDiViCkiqV · 07/05/2006 23:11

I was wondering when this thread would offend someone. Was bound to sooner or later.

cataloguequeen · 07/05/2006 23:13

if you're serious of course!! Wink

ScummyMummy · 07/05/2006 23:15

Well quite, qe. I presume fm is parodying the nasty.

OP posts:
QE · 07/05/2006 23:18

Ok, so I may have over reacted, sorry if I bit your head off!

Just get a bit touchy when people generalise about people on the dole. Still if you are serious then I still don't like it. If you're trying to be funny, then hahaha Grin

fattiemumma · 07/05/2006 23:30

QE - it was meant to be a joke and i apologise if i offended. i am also on benefits having had to leave XP with two children.

The good - let their kids get dirty

The bad - only let their boys get dirty

The ugly - put their babies in nylon outfits and trainers

expatinscotland · 07/05/2006 23:34

the good: understand the importance of well-applied makeup, well-tended hair and high heels.

the bad: prefer trainers

the ugly: all you lentil-weaving members know who you are.

And yes, this is all meant in jest.

ruty · 08/05/2006 09:17

the good engage us in conversation at the swings and politely ignore the tomato sauce stain on my top.

the bad say nothing and push their child on the swing pretending we are not there.

the ugly talk at us without pausing for breath about their own child/ren without ever asking a question.

Cappucino · 08/05/2006 10:11

The good: sail serenely through the world, smiling at everyone and everything because they assume that all is for the best and everyone means well. Also because they have forgotten their glasses and it’s safer just to smile.

The bad; look miserable all the time and manage without any real effort to make everyone else miserable.

The ugly: look miserable and give you a mouthful if you try to be nice to them because they assume that you are taking the pss and that you are a smug bstard.

QE · 09/05/2006 18:25

The good : enjoy life and a joke

The bad : tell appallingly bad taste jokes about people on benefits

The ugly : people who can't see what a joke is if it jumps up and smacks them in the face!

Grin
fastasleep · 09/05/2006 18:26

Hello QE I have been told not to flirt with you as it's disgusting.

bundle · 09/05/2006 18:28

the bad: postcode snobs and people who let their kids sit with their feet on bus/tube seats when elderly/pregnant people are standing

Twiglett · 09/05/2006 18:31
