had anyone had their house done on 60 minutes makeover ?

as i love them to come to my house and do my house up as ive got no character (apart from my living room when we had money) in any of them rooms

Sorry to leave you all on tenterhooks! Little cons really like I really wanted a wooden floor put in by them (main reason for applying really) but they said they didn't have time for that so we had to have the floor put down (we paid), bar one plank, then they put the old manky carpet back down on top of our lovely new floor and on screen fitted the last lousy plank and pretended they had done it all! Also the day before Jake and Gavin arrived they had off screen carpenters and decorators who did all the real work before Jake and Gavin swanned in, did up the odd screw, painted a tiny bit but all on screen of course. However the off screen fellas were a lot rougher round the edges and not as camera friendly iykwim. On the programme they make out that the person who lives in the house also helps but I wasn't allowed to do anything except for the odd piece to camera, they then wrestled the paintbrushes off me to let the professionals (sp) get on with it. Very odd feeling as well, loads of strangers in your house. Looked like a right muppet on TV too, luckily it was on in the day so hardly anyone saw it!
