Are you after a kite I have a C-quad that we will be looking to sell.

Skribble · 26/04/2006 23:25

\link{http://www.prokites.com/cquad.htm\Like the green and yellow one here} its about about 8/ 8.5m tip to tip.

HunKeRMunKeR · 26/04/2006 23:27

(I read "kiting" as "knitting" in the thread title...)

Skribble · 26/04/2006 23:41

So have loads of others including me, scroll down for links for extreme knitting.

PMSL ... also read power knitting ... then opened thread to find out I wasn't the only one ... Grin

I want more of you girls to get into kitesurfing so that the blokes on the beach would stop gawping at me, as if being some sort of weird alien invader ('oh my god look a girl!!). Jura? Squarer? Your children would be impressed! Smile

schneebly · 27/04/2006 07:23

I must be tired - just read the thread title as stunt/power knitting! Grin

HunKeRMunKeR · 27/04/2006 09:02

I love this thread.

SO, does anyone actually do kiting, or is it just full of people talking about mistaken knitting?!

Kitegirl - I fail to see how my son could possibly be impressed by watching his mother getting dragged out of a buggy once more (although that has just given me an idea of how to get his buggy across the beach this year Grin). All our friends have gone and got themselves clued up on kitesurfing whilst we have been changing nappies (well, I say we....) and sadly I wouldn't look so hot in a wetsuit these days (yet more ways to embarrass child!). I'll be sticking to the rock pools for a while, shouting encouragement to DP Smile

Hunker - "dragged from a buggy" and "clued up on kitesurfing" are all knitting terms. Wetsuits are knitted all in ones, like a giant balaclava Wink.

One of my friends does that and kite surfing. Think he uses a 4metre blade on land and a 10m water-launchable for surfing. He has been dragged down many a beach by the 4m one.

Littlefish · 27/04/2006 21:34

I'm here for the knitting too. Blush I really must learn to read properly. Oh well, back to the knitting needles!

granarybeck · 27/04/2006 21:37

So glad wasn't just me having had glass of wine too many wanting to see what power knitting was!! Bit disappointed now... (no offence to power kiters)Smile
