That Maya - mental or what?

I missed it last night - was it good?

Very disappointed in Karen's dress. Looked like she got it from Bury market - I thought it would be mega over the top.

Would they let Tracy have her baby do you think - shes a psycho......

I think I must be the only one who wants Tracy to have her baby back. I don't think she's a psycho either, just a bit stupid. She's no where near as mental as that bunny boiling Maya though...

A bit stupid?? Drug Roy Cropper for a 1p bet, tell him its his baby, take 25 grand off him, marry him, then tell the real father, give the baby to the non-father,wreck his wedding, lie about their relationship to his bride. The lass needs help. She can have her baby back, but she needs professional help first (and get out of the way of that awful Blanche). Baby is gorgeous by the way - but think shes better off with the croppers just now. I personally object to everyone saying the Croppers are so wierd - its bloody Tracy thats wierd if you ask me.................

OK, OK, take your point there Lazyeye, but I think that she may just have avoided most of the mad stuff if she had thought it all through a bit more (and possibly listened to Dreary, sorry, Deidre). Still can't believe that social services or at least the odd HV or two are not involved in this storyline, esp as Roy and Haley have already run off with one child.

Hercules my brain is hurting already just wondering how Tracy is going to get the baby back.

If I were Tracy I'd try and snatch her but I know that is not the rational thing to do, just acting on instincts.

Ooh, yes, but I also want them to do a paternity test on Roy just to shut him up. He doesn't annoy me generally but I would just love some authority to legally hand the baby over to Tracy and tell him to get knotted, it would make a good storyline IYSWIM!

Ahhhhh poor Roy - his only chance for a babba. How could you? He'll have no one to pass on his collection of anoracks and lovely shopping bags...........

I think the Croppers should keep the baby. Tracy is far too selfish to be a mother. Roy and Hayley are not exactly typical parents, but they are good, kind people and will be far better parents than Tracy ever could...once again, I do know it's not real

Can somebody update me on what happened in the second of Monday's episodes? I taped it but I'm not going to have time to watch it before tonight's is on ....

I'm stuggling to remember cookiemonster but if I have a flash of inspiration I'll let you know.

I have to defend lazyeye here, and say that I used to lurve Steve McDonald. So much so I even wrote to him and he sent me a signed photo. I was the envy of my friends!

Cookiemonstor - Mad Maya left a restaurant without paying the bill and made Dev get in the car and she drove like a nutter along winding country roads because he wouldn't marry her (I think)

I HATE Tracy and wish the Croppers could keep Patience.

And Tracy is struggling to change birth certificate - will need to change name by deed poll and get paternity test off Steve to change cert.

yes, the bit with Mad Maya happened at the end of the first episode ... I was wondering if they ended up in a ditch or did Dev propose or did anything else exciting happen? Probably not, eh?

Oh yes - forgot there was 2 episodes. No nothing excited happenned. Maya turned into a doe eyed little girl saying sorry, I love you etc, then they had sex, then another row and Maya walked out with her bags packed.

Think I blanked all that bit out because they irritate me so much.

thanks Northerner and Bozza ... I really hope we've seen the back of Mad Maya - she's one of the most annoying characters in it at the moment. Until they have another storyline with Cilla in it, that is.

Mike Baldwin, Ken Barlow, Betty Turpin, Martin Platt, Katy, Nick Tisley, Maria and Blanche are pretty annoying too!

Me too! We have a woman in our office who really does think Corrie is Real life. Today she is concerned how Tracy will cope financially bringing up Amy alone, as she doesn't have a job!
