Becoming a lifemodel...

Recently (by choice) decided to stop working in my pre-baby career. Now am looking at ways of making a bit of pocket money, and am tempted to try my hand at life modelling. But have no idea where to start.

By no means do I have an amazing figure, 5"2, size 12 no real bust and an impressive saggy mummy tummy... But I'm really not bothered by stripping off. Went to a boarding school from the age of 12 and never had a huge amount of privacy.

Would anyone want to draw my set of wobbles? How do I go about getting into it with no experience? Does anyone else do it and give me some pointers?!

Hi PPT I answered an ad posted on an arts site. Don't think it matters what you look like, they're after people to draw. They might want a particular body type but they'd mention that in the ad. Try your local night school or art college? Good luck (& take your own robe & a flask of something warm)

Could I ask what the arts site was? I will try my local colleges. snort at body type... Really not sure what words would
describe mine, other than well-used!

Arts Jobs. You have to register. It's free. Haven't seen many other ads for life models though... Good luck
