I have had it up to here with my almost 4 yr old DD just now. She refuses point blank to let me dress her in the morning(fine if a non-nursery day, but not if she has to be out of the house by 8am). I have tried most tactics - pursuasion, distraction, letting her choose her clothes and dress herself. But this morning I lost my temper, manhandled her into a teeshirt, which resulted in her running away screaming and my blood pressure soaring with the resulting hole in the wall.
There must be an easier way???

Glad today was better GB - did you set them out in a "clothes kid" - see my posting of 4.19 yesterday - it's all material to kids you know Grin

This has made me smile Smile dd1 is 4 this month & most of the time I now let her choose what she wears to save an argument. Only if it really doesn't match or if she wants to wear summer clothes in the middle of winter do I step in Smile Nice to hear it's not just me who is driven mad by this age, thought it was just me getting used to be sahm after after 3yrs working.
