Is this feasible with one adult? DSs want to see Ice Age 2 and I am thinking of using it as a bribe for good behaviour on the School Shoe Shopping Trip. Used to do a soft play place where I could lounge around on a sofa and drink coffeebut it's shut. Bah!

what about the boys going to the loo? Would the youngest need you and baby to go with him?

joelalie, would use a pouch sling, not a buggy. If DS2 needed the toilet, I would take him with the baby for my own peace of mind - it's a huge cinema and he might get lost! If DS1 needed to go we'd all have to go because I wouldn't leave DS2 in the cinema alone.

I'll let you know when I've been brave enough :)

myself and dh took 3yo and 9week old to cinema last weekend. Having been once, i would definately be confident enough to go without dh. dd slept and bf and never made a peep. ds however gave a loud running commentary of what he thought to the film (wallace & grommitt - wererabbitt). i.e. 'it's scary i want to go home' 'you're right mummy, it is funny'... Luckily the family in front of us laughed at him as much as the film BlushGrin
