OP posts:
MUM007 · 09/04/2006 14:09

It doesnt add up. Mums like Izzy, Cyan,Allie, Perfumelady etc post on her all the time with their experiences and thats fine.
Whenever I come on here I seem to get bullied.
You are all being very nasty and it is bullying.
Please stop this now! I was bullied at school for 3 years. I still have a 2 inch scar on my cheek where i was attacked by 3 girls!! The things you are doing now amount to the
same and I am just so fed up with it.

mesenfantsmaman · 09/04/2006 14:12

Just to let you know sanit geroge is a moderator

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 14:12

well you are not doing your job then are you. Well not if you were asleep when someone said the bllcks to bizzykids bit. So what do you moderate then? only if a person who makes an accusation is then attacked back when the people try to defend themselves

you need a proper job then because when i read the messages and saw that i was quite offended. i am not a prude at all but its not really a word you want to see on a chatroom is it. and we are all supposed to be parents of children after all

izzyrubi · 09/04/2006 14:12

MUM007 >> I loved when you said "talk to Izzy here" hehe maybe I should start charging for advice hehehehe jk I'm faaar from being an expert just love talking and meeting people and that's howI learnt abt agencies and stuff!

You also mentioned that BK doesn't request a portfolio well they did ask me for one and I had to pay £55 for professional photos that were taken at a studio near the agency, not sure if things changed but I still have the e-mail they sent to me.

Look BK causes trouble here and I honestly think people should be able to speak about it if they want to, it is a public forum and it's for us to exchange information, some people have had good experience with them and some didn't, period.

I honestly think they're better for older kids, but I obviously could be wrong!

strawberrymilkshake · 09/04/2006 14:12

Im not bulling you mum 007

strawberrymilkshake · 09/04/2006 14:14

bk told me that i could get own photos done if i wanted to dont know if that helps.

mesenfantsmaman · 09/04/2006 14:17

Every time someone posts on here it goes to the top of activeconvos on mumsnet that has over 1000 users. Al;l these people that are coming out of the woodwork are regular posters on mn, not this thread as they don't have children that model.
Saint george is a moderator it is her job to make sure things don't get out of hand.
Not quite sure where all the confusion lies, this is public, many people read and do not post, if you don't like something someone says ignore, but don't slag off MN it is so much more than thios sodding thread

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 14:18

No Strawberry I meant the others Boris etc. Izzy you just seem to have more experience with the others i.e CK IK AK etc etc.
I may seem onesided but Norrie Carr and Bizzykidz are my only experiences.
I was not telling Fanny to go with BK thats her choice. Thats why I suggested she liase with you. x

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 14:18

mum007 dont feel bullied honey. that is so awful! I know what you mean though but I will not be bullied dont you worry and i wont let you be either!! if you want to share your experiences (and it does help so ignore idiots) then you do what you want. i dont care if saint george is a moderator at all. she has only stepped in on this bit but never anywhere else so moderator or not they are as one sided as it seems everyone else here has been by all accounts. the title moderator is only a title after all

thinking about it there has been sucha lot of horrible things said on here and no sign of any moderator before? is this some kind of a joke website or a conspiracy?

MUM007 · 09/04/2006 14:19

Sorry BK sent me the info int the joining pack re the photos so it was up to me if I wanted to have them done or not.

mesenfantsmaman · 09/04/2006 14:20

Fanny5 she has stepped in on these threads a number of times, have more respect

SaintGeorge · 09/04/2006 14:21

Like I said I, and the other moderators, cannot be here all the time.

FWIW saying 'bllcks to bk' when referring to a company is not exactly the same as calling an individual person names.

Part of the problem with the modelling threads is that the posters have almost formed themselves into a seperate community, away from the rest of MN. It can make the rest of the regular posters on the boards a bit uncomfortable, hence you sometimes find people dropping in here and causing mischief. That is not an excuse for you all to get defensive, jump on them and tell them to 'sod off' or to stop posting.

SaintGeorge · 09/04/2006 14:22

FWIW fanny, I have stepped in before on modelling threads.

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 14:23

not when someone said the word b*llcks and not to stick up for anyone when they were accused of things like mum007 was

sorry if you are offended by that but it is merely an observation from me

look we are all the regulars and colditz and boris came on here and started a row and then went off! amd we are left bickering.

can we all grow up and go back to yesterday please Smile

SaintGeorge · 09/04/2006 14:23

mem Smile

Thank you, nice to know someone notices me.

mesenfantsmaman · 09/04/2006 14:25

Colditz and Boris are mn regulars and have as much right to post on here as you, whether you chose to listen is entirley your decsison

zippitippitoes · 09/04/2006 14:25

I'm sure lots of people drop by these modelling threads out of curiosity...it's like watching a car crash repeatedly Grin

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 14:25

by the way...izzy is brilliant. she does know alot about things and gives good advice Smile

colditz · 09/04/2006 14:26

Please don't make random accusations. I have not started a row.

mesenfantsmaman · 09/04/2006 14:26

I do post elesewhere too Saint George, so probably have a better grasp of this Smile

SaintGeorge · 09/04/2006 14:26

Why would I step in when someone says bollcks? Far worse is said sometimes.

I started to review the thread when I saw the posts by welshboris. It's a long thread, took me a while to catch up before I posted. I wanted to have a clear picture of the situation. Sorry I couldn't type faster for you.

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 14:27

they do i agree but they have stepped in here for no reason (AND THERE WAS NO ARGUMENT GOING ON AT THE TIME IF YOU LOOK BACK) accused peole of things and then went off after leaving the 'car crash behind'

am i missing something here....i am really confused now

colditz · 09/04/2006 14:30

Yes, I went off to look after my son. I don't stay riveted to the computer, I float on and off it for most of the day, but usually I don't even sit down.

fanny5 · 09/04/2006 14:34

this has blown all outof proportion now

saint george> all i said was why have you moderated when we called boris a hijacker (they did hijack OUR conversation and accused us of things did they not??) I was only wondering why you stuck up for them and not us??

mesenfants> i understand that people can post what they like and come in here because it is public forum and it ocmes up high on list when loads of posts, but how did boris know to come on here then? becasue it was only a normal chat at the time and she/he popped up and accused us fo things and THEN it turned into a debate....that doesnt add up. Boris must have been watching and then interfered by accusing us becasue it was a normal thread until then

colditz> i was generalising becasue you and boris had not been on here before apologies for that if you are offended

ANYONE ELSE > beam me up scotty!!!!!!! Im a mum get me out of here!!!!!!

mesenfantsmaman · 09/04/2006 14:36

Lots of people on MN read this thread out of curiosity they think its wierd, Welshboris is probably one of them and is not known to mince her words Grin
