Strolli riders and Buggypods

Anyone got one? My friend bought a Strolli, says it's brill (those of you who don't know it's a clip on bike for a toddler to save them next to your buggy. Seen them both new and secondhand on ebay, but no big shops yet - expensive at about £70. Wanted to get either a Strolli or a Buggypod for ds as he'd love it, but dp says it's a waste of money as dd is nearly 2 and won't be using the pushchair probably after this year and ds is about 35lbs and probably too heavy already. Als as friend only uses hers for long country walks, would like to know how you manage to get up and down kerbs etc. if they'r not dropped kerbs. Also, if you get on a bus, would a strolli fold against the buggy like a buggypod or would it be too much too handle? What about going shooping with it attached, navigating doors, people who push into you, displays etc. Have visions of turning corner with a strolli and ds flying out to the side like someone on the end of a rollerskating line. Still really want one of either though (prefer strolli as it looks cool). Don't want to pay a fortune either if it would only be used for a short time. Actually if loads of you like and want them. :o I might set up a business selling them - not sure what cost price is, can't find much info - everywhere I've seen seems to sell them new for around £70. I thought buggyboards were expensive at £40!

Should say "save them walking next to the buggy"
