You're not a moany old bag! What are they damaging, and who are they? Would it cause you a problem if you did tell the police?

expatinscotland · 19/03/2006 23:08

what is it?

tiredemma · 19/03/2006 23:09

depends if it meant getting my windows put through, or dog shit left on my step.

what is it??

I saw someone bashing a hole in the pavement with the end of their umbrella the other day. They kept going until it was about 6" round and a couple of inches deep. I told them to clear off and they said they were bored.

It really wound me up, because I don't leave in a very nice area and it annoys me that people think it is ok to do what they like.

Anyway, I noticed he had a company clipboard, so I rang them up. I also rang the council and asked them to come and repair it. Is that going over the top?

Sorry, that made me laugh... not in a bad way..

My sister always mocks me saying "I wouldn't usually complain..BUT"

I can just see him digging the umbrella in and you getting madder lol

I muttered a swear under my breath to an old woman in NEXT yesterday... she was moaning about a young mum... I told her it was none of her effin business and then grinned insanely at her Blush

expatinscotland · 19/03/2006 23:22

I would have laughed at him and told him he was one sad fucking git for having nothing better to do than bash a pavement w/a brolly.

rickman · 19/03/2006 23:26

So I went too far then?

Worse thing is, his manager rang me back and says he lives in my road. Bit worried, i might get a brick through my window now.

I shouted at a vicar the other day as well. :o

I had a right moan at the bus company the other day...long story. The bloke said, 'I'll have a word in the driver's ear when he gets in', to which I said, 'No, I want this more official than that' Shock I was spitting feathers though.

rickman · 20/03/2006 22:10

Do you think it's a sign of getting old and being less willing to put up with crap, or are we just miserable? :o

Y'know Rickman (and apols, this is really scary as I don't know you at all), but I just knew this would be you....

Dior · 20/03/2006 22:14

I've been like it sonce having ds. I like to think that it is because I want a nice world for him to grow up in...not because I'm a mad old bat who will be shaking her brolly in people's faces in 10 years time!

rickman · 20/03/2006 22:18

I feel a bit offended now Fiestybird, am I so obviously a moany old cow? Shock

I have definitely got stroppier since I had the kids, I think you just feel that you have to speak out and try and make the crappy stuff better.

Feistybird · 20/03/2006 22:21

Didn't mean to offend Rickman, I think it's that I feel a certain affinity with your posts!

rickman · 20/03/2006 22:24

Phew. So we agree then? :o

My brother thinks I have turned into Victor Meldrew.
