Are you a good looking family?

Dh and I are no great shakes, he is bald and I am a faded blonde gone to seed and flab.

Both kids are rather attractive, not amazing but quite a bit better looking than dh and me, they constantly amaze me, if I am honest.

I don't find dh unatractive , it is just that neither of us is that attractive.

Plus he is loving, kind, astonishingly funny and very good in bed Blush. All of which atributes will last us longer than good looks alone Smile

After 18 year of marriage, and knowing him for 25 years, he still makes me laugh, and he is still the person I most want to talk to at the end of the day, when the kids are in bed!

If I can find a friend in RL who has a scanner I'll try and scan the school photo of the boys taken in November - they've grown up somewhat since that picture was taken with DH.

DS2 particularly gets away with murder - not from me - but from everyone else outside the family LOL.

Don't think anyone's saying they don't find their partners attractive, kama. More that, objectively we know that few of us are in relationships with George-Clooney-alikes.

Bit of a trout here as well I think - def gone to see a bit.Dh is not a stunner, receeding hair, v tall and skinny - his arms - I could make two of his with one of my bingo wings. My kids aren't cutey cutey but are gorgeous to me of course............so no I don't think I'll be signing up on the child modelling thread

Hmmm - the boys are gorgeous. Quite a few people, strangers, have commented on ds1 (he's not a model either - no way, no how!).

Dh and I I'd say are of similar attractiveness - we're probably averagely attractive I'd say (dh of course, thinks I'm a stunner and he gets a lot of female attention but I think it's down to his charming personality - guffaw!).

When I took my wedding photos into work (this is 6 years ago) 2 people commented that we were an attractive family (looking at my mum, dad, me and brothers). My brothers are attractive and Joools is doing well for her years Grin

my two have the biggest brown eyes and brown wavy hair, they are beautiful, the youngest has fair skin like me and the eldest has a darker colour skin like her dad.

dh and I are probably the same level of attractiveness (I think we are traditionally the sort of people described as having 'nice personalities' i.e. ugly!) but both kids are stunners. We are stopped in the street quite regularly with comments about the kid's looks - people always say it with surprise in their voices 'wow, your kids are so good looking' (and then look dh and I up and down as if wondering where they came from!).

It's also because dh and I are completely different colouring. He's very dark, dark eyes, dark brown hair and I'm blonde and blue-eyed so dd looks like a spanish gypsy and ds looks Nordic.

Anyway, as someone said, everyone thinks their own kids are gorgeous (and I'm sure they all are!).
