C-section scar twingers anyone?

Just wondering if anyone else's C-sections scar twinges in the cold weather?

Just the one end of mine is quite sore in twinges throughout the day. My first one never gave any trouble. This is my second and is 15 weeks old. It was quite a hatchet job.

So the question is, 'is this nomral in the cold weather?'

I like "double x-xx"
as for my tail of woe... second c-section scar had complications and typical tale of nobody listening to me in the hospital when I said it wasn't right sent me home only to find it hadn't clipped back together so a gaping wound and three months later they had to re-open the wound and start again.
Anyway, just glad to be alive and have healthy children. When I was little I could never understand how women died in childbirth having children is a real eyeopener!

We are definitetly a bone-fide club now, scar sisters, the double x-xx.
I have found this immensely theraputic too. Although I buck against the trend for medical intervention in birth I would nit hesitate to advise anyone tinking of VBAC to go for elective and save all the sh*t we'vw been through.

I like the idea of scar rediction plasters i've been using vitamin e oil.

Another name for our club could be ' the still the same down-belows '

First ever message, so bear with me ! I have 3 sections, last one a year ago and I sometimes still get occasional twinge, especially if i'm doing something stupid like trying to rearrange the flat on my own. Firend who's son is 18 mths still sometimes gets twinges too so I wouldn't worry.

Nutcracker, welcome to MN and welcome to the club, you shall be senior member as you've endured 3 of the frightful things

Hi! scarsisters, very apt name......I have had 3 c-sections. First elective, as he was 36weeks-9lbs 71/2oz, 1994. Second emergency, I said I would have him naturally, so after 18 hours, he gets stuck, 39weeks-9lbs 12oz, 1996. My third elective but 6weeks early, 34weeks-7lbs 7oz, 2002.
1st was pretty straight forward, I was in a lot of pain, but apart from that, O.K. 2nd, more use to the pain, alot of scar tissue, the surgeon was cutting bits out and chucking it........healed quicker, pain was more bearable. Then a 6 year gap, had 2 misscarriages, then had my heart baby, got up much quicker, was driving at day 8. With all 3 c-sections I have had the pain that goes with the cold weather... or stepping on cold tiles in bare feet, that makes your eyes water. Or even stretching to reach for something above your head, the pain stays with you for a while. But I'm very proud of my scar, all 3 on top of one another, looks pretty neat, now 17 months later, and it has gone that silvery white colour, and I still can not feel anything there. The 6 year gap between 2nd and 3rd baby, I still had no feeling, so that 2inch gap either side of my scar, is officially dead...........
