Hello all.
Well i am at the end of my short tether at the minute and it's all from my own doing really.
DD2 has just turned one and we basically have always co-slept from about 10-11-ish when i get summoned and usually go up anyway to read. Problem is, it's getting earlier and earlier and i cannot go to bed at 9pm. I just have too much to do and NEED a few hours to myself.!!!
I was thinking about a bouble bed for her and dd1 (who is 5) but having slept with them both in a Kingsize bed i think they both toss and turn too much.
What i'm now thinmking is a little bed the same as dd1's, right next to dd1's with one of them bolster things so the little one couldn't slip down under covers and a safety bar on the other side. DP said we'll also get a camera monitor so we can see her at all times and it would be so much easier to get her to sleep by lying next to her then creeping out.
she seems to HATE her xot and as soon as her toes touch the side she's awake.

If you've got this far, bless you!
So is 13 months just ridiculously young?

oh i know! starlover to the rescue!!!!!! hurrah!!!!!!

i am sure it's fine... i think the risk is that they will get their head caught... but i am sure you can minimise that.

They were both great in their beds and loved the idea of being big boys. They've got \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=7&langId=-20&catalogId=10103&productId=16268\these} but at the lower setting. Ds1's is now at the top. Ds2 is still at the bottom as he's only two.

There's bits you can add on to make it look all girly. Like a canopy that goes over the top. M-in-law made some camoflauge drapes for ds1's.

That's a really cool bed.

I think in the ikea catalogue it shows the girly version. Or it did in last years catalogue.
