Micralite query

We are in the early stages of planning a trip to Singapore in May. I will be on my own during the day with DS and DD for about 3 weeks. We will then have a holiday for a couple of weeks somewhere in Asia. I'm trying to work out how I'm going to manage. I'm presuming we will take the MRT (tube) to get around as well as taxis.

DS is a big 3.5 year old - more like a 4.5 year old in size (height and weight). DD is a slim, light, long 2 year old.

I would like to get a Micralite, principally for her but could DS sit in one too?

The fact that I can push it one handed (while hanging on to DS!) and fold it up easily are the main attractions.

Any advice? TIA

Shameless bumping as I can't find a maximum age anywhere.

what is a micralite? Can you explain - might help people answering your query.

Thanks ja9. How old is your DS/DD? Can he/she sleep in it comfortably?

my ds is 18mths - quite big for his age. he sits and sleeps happily in his. it doesn't recline very much... but my ds doesn't find this a problem.

can you not try one out in a shop?

ive seen lost of them and have always thought that they look really small for a larger child, especially around the head area... it sort of gets really narrow like a triangle at the top.

I have never tried but thats my opinion through looking at others ive seen. (only ever seen them with small children in!)
