how big is your bedroom?

how big are your children's bedrooms?

how big is your "box room" ?

if one of your children has a very small bedroom how do you go about storage etc? i have a pretty big bedroom and im having it split so dd can have her own room...its going to be a very small room but im hoping that with some clever storage solutions it can work. (not like a two year old is going to go and chill up there anyway). what is your definition of a small room?

Hi nightowl, my bedroom is pretty big. My children's rooms are reasonable size but DS' room is a strange shape (long and narrow).
My definition of a small bedroom is probably one that can just about fit a single bed in it, maybe a cupboard/chest of drawers and maybe, at a push, a desk (for older kids).

wow ghosty, you've just described exactly how dd's bedroom will be! its going to be about 7ft by 8ft with a corner cut out. tiny, but she needs a room of her own. ive seem smaller rooms so am hoping we can work with it. (although, you arent in england are you and i think our houses tend to be smaller anyway)?

I recommend a cabin bed for small bedrooms, but I think DD will need to be about 5 before she can safely have one.You know, they are about chest high ( on an adult) and you can have a chestof drawers and desk ubderneath. Or just a play area or toy storage if you prefer
