i told dd2 i would chuck her out of the car today [sad]

she was screeching in my ear about something whilst i was driving home in the dark and it was raining. she kept on and on and on, really high pitched screeched. so i threathened to chuck her out pf the car. i am awful. i wouldnt, hnestly i wouldnt. but i had reached a point of my concentration being compromised and needing her to be quiet (i had asked her to be quiet severeal times). she was quiet the rest of the way home but i feel so guilty.

Our DS was being horrendous on a long journey once (nothing new there, actually). Nothing was working - games, distraction, bribes, threats etc etc - he just did not want to be there, and we all suffered for mile after mile after mile. It was awful.

Finally, in desperation, DH said that if he didn't stop, we were pulling into the next service station and putting him on a bus home - thinking that there wouldn't be a bus there. So, pulled in, and of course a ruddy bus was sitting there! DS was hysterical . Did feel (a bit) guilty!

Didn't put him on the bus, I hasten to add...
