Hi girls

I'm off from tomorrow until the New Year so won't be online for a while.

It's Lottie's 2nd birthday on Wednesday and I'm just generally going to be spending time with her at home and stuff.

So I wanted to take this opportunity to first wish you all a great festive season and a truly happy 2004.

I also wanted to say 'thank you' to all of you who I've enjoyed a silly laugh with and to those of you who have offered advice and support when I've needed it.

I'd enjoy Mumsnet no matter what my 'situation' but being a 32-year-old mother of a child with some special needs, well Mumsnet has been a lifeline sometimes. Not only because of advice and support from other mums in situations similar to mine, but from so many of you. The kindness and support shown by people I've never actually met has moved me to tears somedays. I've often driven home from work reeling from how great you can all be.

So thank you girls and thank you Mumsnet.
Peace, happiness and love to you all -
Thomcat xxx

Cheers Drac - will pop on again by the end of the day and then that's me done for a while. One panic-stricken day left at work to get it all done / leave hand over notes and then nothing but festive cheer and Lottie, what bliss!

Look forward to catching up with you all again in the New Year, xx
