Clothes for skinny dd

Anyone know where I can get trousers/skirts for dd who is 2.5 - she is quite slender (unlike me :) ) so everything that fits lengthwise falls down! Fed up of short trousers!

tescos value jeans are slightly fitted - the girly ones have pink thread - could try these, they don't fit my chubby 2.9 so might be ok for yours. How about the ones that have adjustable waists - seem very popular at the moment - seen them in mc, tesco and H&M

if she's tall could try 3-4yrs with an adjustable waistband and tighten it.

Though do think that nappy has a big bearing at this age - DD1 has been in pants for 3wks now - and is back in some of her 2-3 trousers and they no longer swing at the ankle.

Places like Tesco and John Lewis do them with adjustable waistbands. Other than that I make do with a "nip and tuck"!

most of the adjustable ones are too big at the tightest setting - am crap at sewing although I just might have to have a go.

I frequently have to put elastic through trousers or use the stretchy belts from H and M (Next have some now too). Gap, H and M and Next do ones with adjustable waists

My DD's 2y9m, 50th centile but potty-trained so 2-3yr trousers just don't stay up. Yesterday I discovered by accident that she fits beautifully in her little brother's 12-18m jeans!!! Funnier still, he is bursting out of them due to his big cloth bum, PMSL. I'm dead chuffed I don't have to update her wardrobe for a while but sadly her 2-3yr jeans are far too girly for DS Smile.

I have the same prob w/DD1, 2.8. I get them from H&M w/an adjustable waist b/c she's also 3ft., 3in. tall already.

Will certainly try the belts and have a look in H & M and Gap.

pumpkin patch do adjustable waistbands and they are a godsend for me and my skinny dd.
Bodens plain baggies are also good.
It's a night mare when skinny minnies come out of nappies, trouser wise though.
H+M do adjustabel wasitbands but as my dd is slender the trousers biury the rest of her
Gap is small fitting worth a crack.
I find rolling the waistband over does the job for a bit as well.

Nappies also pad out the rise making trousers shorter so don't get rid of her 1-2yr trousers, they may be long enough after potty training nappy.

It's propably not practical, but French clothes tend to be small in the waist. My in laws stock up on trousers for the sluglet in the supermarkets on their 6 weekly booze trips to Calais.
