you should have made a better bid WinkGrin

bubblerock · 01/03/2006 18:32

I did think about it Grin

MarsOnLife · 01/03/2006 21:27

right I have a new item.

I'm sticking to my original subject... the Titanic. Now I have a build it yourself motorised model. lol.

Do you think that that item will sink alongside the book I bought? Anyway, I'm going to list them both separately.

(I may put them in a Laura Ashley cardigan) I'm not easily beaten bubblerock Envy

lexiemum · 02/03/2006 19:28

Bubblerock - advice please - I've jsut had the bigwigs at ebay remove a couple of my items because I wrote the wrong thing in the subject line - the email is a bit sketchy regards whether I can or cannot relist. Can I relist removing the bit they don't like and not be penalised? shame not too as had loads of interest and lots of watchers.

thankfully not my comp item - shall list that tomoz

Skribble · 03/03/2006 00:29

I forgot about the challenge as I have got carried away with ebaying, I got this item for 50p so this is my entry \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7011368611&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1\audio book}, it finishes on the 5th.

Can anyone advise is there a limit to how many items you can list without giving ebay your crdit card details? It says i have reached my limit not sure if they are talking about number of items or about fees.

Skribble · 03/03/2006 00:34

Is nobody apart from me and charliecat doing this??? I wish I had put my Berghaus in for the challenge.

I kind of found it a while back and I hardly wore it as it was a bit tight on my hips. It sold for £92, I could not believe it.

lexiemum · 03/03/2006 07:52

skribble - we're listing today as it's 1/2 fees. mine will be on soon.

BettySpaghetti · 03/03/2006 13:01

I'm going to be joining you on this one -don't fancy my chances though as I got a bit desperate trying to find something for £1.50 or less (charity shops round here are a bit pricey).
I'll post a link as soon as I get round to doing the listing.

JoolsToo · 03/03/2006 13:20

I'm listing this evening - I have two items but they're from my own stock of unwanted items.

Like the audio book idea Skribble might look out for some of those myself.

bubblerock · 03/03/2006 13:27

Lexiemum - what did you put in the title?? I wouldn't imagine they could pull an item again if you list it correctly, sometimes they are a bit strange on ebay, pulling listings for no reason whilst others are blatantly scams and are allowed to finish. Could yours have been reported for some reason?

chjlly · 03/03/2006 14:43

I'mI'm hoping to join in this time! I will sort it out later when I get home!

BettySpaghetti · 03/03/2006 14:46

Can someone confirm -are we doing a 5 or 7 day listing if we list today?

bubblerock · 03/03/2006 16:46

I am putting my/dh's listing on tonight for 5 days Smile

MarsOnLife · 03/03/2006 16:48

will be listing mine shortly. Am listing 2 things separately.

lexiemum · 03/03/2006 19:31

BR - got it sorted, I think. I added "Not {store name}" to boost keyword searches - as many do and found some already listed and ending that evening, but mine got pulled, apparently this is against policy. Won't be doing it again, but can relist.

off to list my item now......

bubblerock · 03/03/2006 19:56

Loads do that don't they? I guess you were just unlucky in being pulled.

Okay - here's mine and DH's

lexiemum · 03/03/2006 19:56

here's my feeble attempt.......
