A friend has told me about a small room extendiing kit that you can use to extend the size of a room without full planning etc I can't find it online but has anyone heard of it or seen it?

Do you mean the one that comes off of the window, so gives you a little bit of extra space?

Hi Noddy. Now it was either B&Q or Wickes that do them. Looked on web and can't find anything. May be better to go in store and have a look. Def. one of those though. I think they are about £1500. HTH

Check with local planning what exactly is allowed, you can in theory put on a proper conservatory with out planning if it is under a certain size and far enough away from boundries, although you will need comply with building regulations and get a completion certificate if it has heating and interior not external doors to house.
