Lauraa83 · 17/02/2006 21:45

Mine is... Police - every breath you take
and ds is Mario Winan's I don't wanna know which I'm pleased to know cos it's in his keepsake baby box as the no.1 when you were born!

I've been looking for a website like this for years!!! So happy, thanks Lucy5!

TwoIfBySea · 17/02/2006 21:48

So I get the worst song then - Ernie the fastest milkman in the west by Benny Bloody Hill! Can I be American for this so I get Family Affair and not that sh*te?

Great, just great. Sums it up really. Even my birthdate is ruined by a crap song!

At least dts have Robbie and Nicole "Something Stupid"

DH gets a respectable Mama We're All Crazee Now - Slade.

PeachyClair · 17/02/2006 21:50

Are you sure Benny is worse than the Millenium Prayer?

A matter of taste I suppose....

(Just played on Napster for ds, he is NOT impressed! hee hee)

TwoIfBySea · 17/02/2006 21:55

Well Cliff is pretty bad but I think I beat it with sheer awfulness!

you might know a more modern version of the song.

I would give everything i own
give up my ...... my .... my home
just to have you back again
just to talk to you once again.

OP posts:
stephanie21 · 17/02/2006 22:50

oh,i know it now!!!

Calista · 17/02/2006 23:00

[Apparently by 'Bread' - WhoTF are they!)

You sheltered me from harm.
Kept me warm, kept me warm
You gave my life to me
Set me free, set me free
The finest years I ever knew
Were all the years I had with you

I would give anything I own,
Give up me life, my heart, my home.
I would give everything I own,
Just to have you back again.

You taught me how to love,
What it?s of, what it?s of.
You never said too much,
But still you showed the way,
And I knew from watching you.
Nobody else could ever know
The part of me that can?t let go.

I would give anything I own,
Give up me life, my heart, my home.
I would give everything I own
Just to have you back again.

Is there someone you know,
You?re loving them so,
But taking them all for granted.
You may lose them one day,
Someone takes them away,
And they don?t hear the words you long to say

I would give anything I own,
Give up me life, my heart, my home.
I would give everything I own
Just to have you back again.

stephanie21 · 17/02/2006 23:02

OP posts:
Calista · 17/02/2006 23:10

Steph, did a google search on the lyrics "I would give everything I own". Don't have a clue who Ken Boothe is but recognised the song eventually - it's a reggae type song that was re-released in the 90's? sometime.

Calista · 17/02/2006 23:11

Ah, it was Boy George who covered it most famously (with Culture Club?) in the 80's wasn't it?

Calista · 17/02/2006 23:13

Also 'Jude' covered it apparently...

lucy5 · 17/02/2006 23:18

Jude????????????????? No I must have been thinking of Boy George.

OP posts:
Mercy · 17/02/2006 23:21

stephanie21 · 17/02/2006 23:25

lucy5 · 17/02/2006 23:25
