Mine tend to Kaiser chiefs, Green day etc, plus dd2 is a big Ozzy Osbourne fan, they also like Gwen Steffani ( they do listen to all of it but don't sing the swear words)

Dd1 likes Classical stuff to as she likes to practise her ballet to it, and she also likes Girls aloud etc.

Basically pretty much anything.

DD (2) loves anything classical.

Dh and I are totally stumped by it. She will sit and listen to Classic FM all day and insists it is on in the car.

She does like a bit of indie/rock stuff that we listen to.

DD aged 3 loves anything
She loves old rock and roll, anything with a denet bassline, anything truly rock - darkness, whate stripes, kaiser chiefs
she also loves and sings along to damien rice and the magic numbers.
That said she also adores, wheels on the bus and all that preschool shit too

dd likes queens of the stone age, metallica, editors, and artic monkeys, having said that, its not all good as she also dances to beyonce and the music from the sheilas wheels ad!

My dd 5 loves Kaiser Chiefs, The Zutons, The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Byrds, etc. etc. all the stuff that dh likes. She also loves the songs from Barbie Princess and the Pauper and blooming Britney Spears Oops I did it again, because of the Barbie website.

ds rates the artic monkeys, but thinks the strokes new album is too noisy. loves qotsa and thinks madonna is well past it. brilliant taste for 5 months!

dd loves beyonce.. she's bootylicious

dd (14) loves GreenDay - she is their no.1 fan. Also - My Chemical Romance, System Of A Down, Fall Out Boy (don't ask, I haven't heard of them either). She likes other stuff like Kaiser Chiefs, James Blunt, Eminem too.

ds's like - Pink, Dido and other mostly chart or pop and rock stuff.

I think i am starting to turn into my parents when i say things like "turn that noise down!"

DD (6)loves anything with a bit of ooomph -White Stripes,The Subways etc but also loves some classical and choral stuff. Her current favourite is a very traditional Christmas Carols one sung by a cathedral choir.

DS (19m) loves to pretend drum to anything with a beat (but the louder the better).

DD had a kids electric guitar, amp and microphone for Xmas so the two of them have had loads of fun "jamming"
