Hi all,
I have only been driving for 6 months, and have often thought that I should have an 'emergency bag' in the boot. What I mean is, things like a blanket, nappies, change of clothes etc.
Thought it would be useful if I broke down or if I decide to stay later when out and about, and not worrying about rushing home because I've run out of something.eg - The other day we drove out for a meal, but forgot ds cup. I do carry a change bag, but only bare essentials.
Looking for ideas of what to put in the bag?

I have used a potty myself once too SL
we had been stuck in traffic for a LONG time though....
I don't have an emergency bag as such but I do have half the contents of my house scattered around the car at any one time

I also occasionally buy an "emergency" bar of choc "for the glove box"
and then eat it after approx 10 minutes

I have one of those 'effective looking hammers' in the car. It has a blade in the handle, in case you need to cut the seatbelt. I'm thinking worst case scenario...

Water, foil blanket thing, Kendal mint cake...

I always have

a smallish nappy.... a larger pull up , a muslin, a few pairs of (kids) pants / knickers, old trousers, a towel, some wipes, suncream, several small bottles of mineral water, raisens, nappy sacs, several carrier bags, and tissues + first aid kit, and paper / pencils.

sure theres lots of otehr stuff as well, cause my boot is always full before i even 'start'
