My dog also loves eating fish heads, squid, whatever is washed up on the beach really, she rolls in it first though.

yukky dogs

My mum's dog once ate a used tampon which he fished out of the bathroom bin (they couldn't flush such things as they had a septic tank)- he shook it around first by the "tail". This was in the lounge in front of guests when she had a guest house.

Hehehehe, she's a Labrador cross, dont know what with though. Probably a campo dog [a dog from the Spanish countryside} She's a rescue dog but I dont know if that has any bearing on her revolting habits.

unfortunately my dog does it too! we were fostering a rescue dogthe other day and he went for a poo in dds bed!

JoolsToo · 10/02/2006 22:30

gross - this just confirms the reasons I don't have pets!

ntt · 10/02/2006 22:32

My mum's dog was a lab cross too!

magnolia1 · 10/02/2006 22:46

Doesnt matter what breed they are, My mum breeds cavalier king charles spaniels that are supposed to be well behaved and 'nice'

They eat their own sh*t all the time

im so relieved (and appalled) that this appears to be normal behaviour. theres no way im ever letting that dog lick me again
