Pooing in the bath...

ds (aged 16 months) poos in the bath at least once a week. Vigorous splashing shortly after an enormous tea just seems to get his bowels going! Does anyone else have a similar problem?
Any bright ideas on getting the poo out of the bath without dropping it all over the bathroom floor? (I just keep a plastic cup in the bathroom but would welcome any clever suggestions)
And just how much disinfectant, hot water etc do you chuck around to clean up afterwards?
And do you rewash the brat?
And his big sister? (who once had to go to the doctor 'cos she cut her wizzle leaping out of hte bath after one of ds's more monumental poos. She's screaming; blood everywhere; baby screaming; poo everywhere. You try explaining that sort of injury to the GP . It goes without saying that I had 2 glasses of wine that evening).
And all the bath toys?
Usual mumsnet practicality and humour would be much appreciated...

dd2 has done this quite a few times and unfortunately she is not known for solid poos . Never seen dd1 get out the bath so quick - luckily she avoided her wizzle ! Usually I run the bath away, fish out remaining lumps with wet wipes (urgh), spray out with shower and then run a second bath with disinfectant in and leave overnight (disinfecting any toys with this). Lovely!

Er..not sure what happened there. Tried to post something that went something along the lines of:
Thank you, undoubtedly lovely ladies, for your ideas. Glad to know that I'm not being only overprotective (cholera; typhoid; aaaaggh) and merely going with the consensus. Like the idea of sterilising tablets rather than disinfectant; much less harsh.
