What is the best toy that you have for your 1+ year old

DS is 1 in a few weeks and I want him to have some toys for his birthday that he will really want to play with!

What is (or was) your lo's favourite toys at this age?

Aquadraw without a doubt.

dd was 1 last week and got a discovery dome (small tent type thing with activities on each wall) she loves playing with it and often sits in there with other toys. also any fisher price peek a block.
