Oh no!
He is a proud West Walian!
He is working on a big EU project...lots of money going into developing agriculture (his thing) in a very poor and neglected part of Turkey.
He loves it. I love it too. Kurds and Turks are the nicest kindest warmest people you could meet.
We have had some wonderful times.

moondog · 04/02/2006 22:23

CK,yes not too far!

JoolsToo · 04/02/2006 22:24

oh thanks!

I have been to Turkey on holiday and know how fabulous the people are - one guy with a carpet shop who we used to stop and talk to every day really helped us out when we had a crisis - brilliant! They're quite funny too.

moondog · 04/02/2006 22:26

They are.
I have lived in many different countries, but noone else comes close.

moondog · 04/02/2006 22:27

Men are damned good looking too.

Ohh, OK, moondog - that had passed me by. Worried me a bit for you + littlies when I read that the bird flu fatalities were near Van (even though I'm quite sure you don't live with chickens!)

Caernarfon is a lovely area
