Out of interest where do you buy your kids clothes?

I'm asking purely out of interest. Do you tend to go for legging and t-shirts from M&S, Gap or H&M. Or do you go to more expensive shops, enjoy splashing out on designer pieces.

Charity shop specialised in children clothes (not in UK), Z and H&M. I have some designer pieces (from the charity shop) but would not enjoy them if I had splashed on them.

Nearly new sales, Boots, M&S, and John Lewis mainly

Boden, GAP, Verbaudet John Lewis, Zara and now they are older and clothes last longer the odd more expensive item (usually in the sales). Hate designer clothes with logos through.

Kids (7and 8) now often choose their own clothes, but rule is that I have to like them too (so they might tick items in the boden catelogue and I will order a couple of things from what I have chosen).

primark for everything i can get away with. Ds1 is 11 and hasn't started asking for designer clothes yet, but goes up to Academy after the Summer and can imagine it wont be long after he will be asking for all the expensive makes :( Although he usually insists on dc shoes which i always try to get cheap on ebay. Football strips are bloody expensive though and cant be bought cheaper anywhere!

Asda, Tesco, H+M, Sainsburys, Zara mainly. DD is pretty skinny so finding stuff that fits is a challenge.

I buy them from all over - Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Aldi, M&S, C&A, H&M, Zara, Boden, JojoMamanBebe, John Lewis, M&Co, Boots, Debenhams, Gap, Vertbaudet, La Redoute, Matalan, second hand... My children are only young though.

I am happy to buy higher quality, more expensive stuff, especially now I have two children, as things can be handed down. I tend to buy stuff with a bit of growing room so it will last longer. I wouldn't splash out on something because it was "designer" (and an obvious name splashed across the front would put me right off - I refuse to buy clothes with writing on Grin), but I would pay more for something well-made out of nice, good quality fabric.
But having said that, I have had some supermarket cheap stuff that has lasted and lasted and looked like new.

H and M mainly but also Primark. Occasinally verbaudet.

4x DC age 4-12: 90%+ are cast offs from friends or older siblings,2 huge bin bags for a tenner in the FreeAds type of thing, some trousers from Sainsbury's, charity shops fleece tops

I have no idea what a reasonable clothes budget would be for teenage DC if I could only buy new, i keep trying to figure it out!
