Do you say anything if you think/know they are totally unsuitable?I am talking here about older kids 11-12.Or do you keep out of it?

DS has one friend who came round last friday

he controls what DS does and thinks

he breaks up his lego models

so last week we put all the lego away and anything that he could break up or destroy

His friend is 11 years and ds is 10.5

I have no idea what will happen in year 7

but in the past I have said another boy R is not coming cos of his language and violent way of playing

But I am guessing you mean more serious than this do you ?

Similar tbh although this particular boy has been in trouble with police in yr 6 something fairly minor but his whole attitude is a nightmare and my ds thinks he is hilarious!(but also knows he is 'trouble')They are in different schools now but he is still around and I know his parents who are nice people so v difficult

I sent one of my DS's friends away tonight "X isn't here, he went out with X not sure where" when really he was upstairs. Can't stand the kid or his family - they're known as trouble around here! I can't choose their friends but I can tell little white lies occasionally to keep them away
