Last year I made up a shoe box of presents for a child in Romania. This year I'd like to do the same but can't remember the name of the charity but I do know they are based in Queens Rd, Buckhurst Hill, Essex. Can anyone help? R.

Thanks RobinW, has that time come around again already!

My eldest enjoyed doing it last year, so will definitely do it again.

my nans friends are from poland(i think)originally and visit quite regularly.whenever i have a clear out of my dd clothes toys etc they collect them and send them off to the orphanages,my nan also works in a charity shop and is amazed by the clothes and toys that are chucked away as either rubbish or rags when they are still in good condition, she bags up a smuch as she can and pays 50p a bin bag then sends them to her friends who then take them over to poland.
this year instead of doing the gmtv one im going to pack up a few boxes with bits and bobs from pound shops etc and send them with my cast offs .hopefully it will give some children a good xmas, and i'll know theyre getting them just as i sent them.
