Didn't want to hijack the other thread but have just read all the comments that it's an adult show. I'm getting really worried now - I've booked to take my DPs daughter (13), my niece (16) and 2 nephews (13 and 15) in March. When I booked the tickets the website said Parental Guidance - I asked when I phoned to book if it was OK to take them and they said it was up to the discretion of the parents

What do you think? Should I tell them they can't go? They're really looking forward to it

Those of you who have been could you give me an idea of the content? Is it swearing? Sex references? Violent?

It is very adult and personally I think 13 and possibly 15 are too young. There are many very inappropriate moments which are very funny but also definitely adult. It is not violent but full of sexual innuendos and references, the odd bit of swearing. If you have seen the tv show, expect something very similar - same characters, some of the sketches are straight off the tv series too. We saw it before Christmas and loved it but was very very rude One scene had full male nudity in it too with PMs secretary in rpt sketch where he says he has a leaving present for the PM, asks him to close his eyes and then strips off and runs naked all over the set.
Of course it depends on the teenager involved but personally no way would I take my neice and nephew who are similar ages.
Sorry - maybe others will disagree with me. Can?t remember seeing many teenagers there either - mainly people in twenties and early thirties.

We went, and I didn't book for my dd and ds (13 and 12), because I was warned that the stage show was likely to be more explicit that the tv show.

To be honest, I didn't think that was the case, and I wouldn't have been too worried about dd and ds being there.

Go and enjoy it!

I would probably take the 15 and 16 year old but I do think 13 is too young tbh

Thanks everyone

Yorkiegirl I did think that - big difference between 9 and 13 - but so many people on your thread said it was an adult show and that's what got me a bit worried. But at the end of the day it's not really my decision to make, think I'll tell DP and my sister what's been said and leave it up to them to decide - they are their children after all. At least that way I've warned them so they can't blame me if it is too rude for them

Thanks again
