What did you do this w/end? I need to steal your ideas and avoid the Bob-the-Builder-thon we just had.

And since we're about it, if your child won't wear gloves, is it dangerous for their hands to get colder and colder?

we are currently making lots of different dec's for the tree. so far got a cracker(from playschool) a chimney with snow on(playschool again) a snowman made from toilet roll tube and LOTS of screwed up tissue paper...kept him busy for about an hour and a hlaf
making shakers tomorrow, got lots of glittery snowflakes around the house at mo and lots of glitter on things that shouldn't have glitter on!!

sitting in front of the fire(or radiator) witha book is good sometimes too

On Sunday went to the new Borders in Warrington - the coffee shop opened an hour before the bookshop officially opened, and we found another mum and dd there. Our children turned out to have been born in the same hospital two weeks apart and we let the babies crawl over the sofa area while we chatted. All very civilised and quiet at that time of the morning, and only child-friendly people came and sat in the area. Only problem - getting out of a bookshop with credit card untouched...
