Dadslib - I am from Redcar. Lived there till I was 19, then moved to Harrogate.

It only takes me an hour to get to Chester for some serious shopping.......must stop being so lazy and get a job

ROFL Dadslib. My folks still live in Redacr and we visit regularly. Dh hates going. He hates the smells. Also from my bedroom window you can see the flare stacks over at ICI. On an evening the whole room is orange! I love it.

My company is based in Harrogate so have occasion to visit it regularly. V annoying as is not on the rail main line. I gather they have just opened a Hotel du Vin - worth a visit for dinner all you H types.
