Is the Barbie one RUDOLPH? (rough and doll?) or is that clutching at straws?

COPPERfeelunderSantasTOP · 14/12/2005 17:59

MULLED WINE for the other one

Janh · 14/12/2005 18:10

copper, you are brilliant - I would never have got mulled wine! Not sure about Rudolph but it could be, after the way they got to mulled - I will pencil it in anyway

Janh · 15/12/2005 10:54

Ooops, it's ct, isn't it, not copper - sorry (I keep struggling with Christmas names )

Could somebody explain to me how you get mulled wine for no 11? I can see the 'wine' but not 'mulled' at all and it's driving me potty!

COPPERfeelunderSantasTOP · 15/12/2005 13:01

donkey = mule

L plate = L

paste tense = 'd' on the end.

CookieMonster · 15/12/2005 13:05

groan .. thanks Copper

csa · 15/12/2005 13:31

why wine?

JackieNoCribForABed · 15/12/2005 13:33

7 Queen's speech

WigWamBam · 15/12/2005 13:36

Wine = whine = moaning

JackieNoCribForABed · 15/12/2005 13:37

14 Rudolph (barbie = doll and uncut diamond = rough)

csa · 15/12/2005 13:44

aah.. thanks!

JackieNoCribForABed · 15/12/2005 13:48

Not sure about Rudolph for no 14 now - seems like some very dodgy reasoning on my part...

JackieNoCribForABed · 15/12/2005 13:50

Byt pretty sure that 12 is satsuma

JackieNoCribForABed · 15/12/2005 13:53

Urgh - teach me to read the rest of the thread before posting!

Janh · 15/12/2005 21:48

That's OK, JNCFAB - your dodgy reasoning is the same as CT's and you getting Rudolph too makes me more convinced about it! I gave it to someone else today to hand over to distributor tomorrow (shift work) - hope they don't pinch all my answers and steal the prize

OP posts:
csa · 15/12/2005 21:49

can someone explain no 4 to me please?

feastofsteven · 15/12/2005 21:51

Roman 4 = iv
then combine that with at, it, and ny, and you get the word nativity

COPPERfeelunderSantasTOP · 15/12/2005 22:01

I feel strangely relieved that JackieNCFAB ended up with the same answer I did. Perhaps my logic isn't as twisted as I'd thought it was.
