School kids in next doors garden!!!!!!!

Was cleaning out the Guinea pigs today with DS2 (15months) and some kids from the school behind were acting suspiciously at the fence, then they saw me and ran off. There was a lot of whispering and then the came back and asked politely if I would mind going into next doors garden and getting their ball for them. As she was out and her gates like mine are kept locked so I said no but that I'd go round when she got back and ask her to throw it over. Thank you very much they said.

I went back to the Guinea's and a few mins later saw a large boy (about 15yrs) scaling the fence (about 12 feet high), jump onto neighbours shed and into her garden. Ball went back over to school and so did the boy with a great deal of effort. Could not believe my eyes. then it struck me, as neighbour has conifers at the end of her garden they couldn't see into it to climb the fence and were going to climb into mine then into hers until they realised I was in the garden.

They knackered her bird table and as her sheds are old could've been injured himself!!

The school have been told but the head master really couldn't give a sht. They are always pssing about stealing bits of bamboo from our fence (we have put this up inside the school fence to stop our kids being handed things) and the school can't be bothered to do anything.

I'm so amazed that they couldn't just wait and instead climbed this enormous fence (which really was very silly and dangerous) just to get a football.

Please tell me that most 15yr olds have a little more respect for other peoples property? Please....

get the police to speak to the head, he might take a bit more notice of them. appalling behaviour!

THANK YOU!!!

Thought I was being crappy. then I thought actually we don't want kids from the school traipsing about in our garden while we're not there! It's a crap school anyway, they seem to have little or no control over the kids.

was thinking about a bit of the old razor wire myself but can't I get nicked if they hurt themselves on it?

hmmm, possibly. what about buying a doberman and fencing it in at the back of the garden near the fence, doesnt sound like you would have to pay for food i think you are ok as long as you put a sign up

A friend of mine used to live next door to playground of good 6th-form college in "nice" town (playground wrong word but ykwim!) Her garden was considerably higher than the schoolyard but if balls came over they would scramble up and over 6-7' wall and invade...so I think the answer is no

(Thing is, in all honesty, boys have always been like this but nowadays they are supposed not to be. Might as well expect a dog not to bark...)

This sounds really old, but 'in my day' we were too scared of the consequences to do this sort of thing. Honest!!

I don't think there are any consequences these days, if you snitch on them and they know it's you they're likely to terrorize you on purpose.

This is a village where a group of 13 and 14 year old boys harrassed an old lady, when her daughter visited she went out to ask them to quit it and they said I quote "when you're gone we're gonna come back and rape her". How pleasant they are.
