Do you think this might work? More mortgage stuff sorry.

Right, our 'top' offer on the house we like is not doable or so it seems atm. I have left it open at this time, but I was wondering. If we were to offer the vendor to pay our stamp duty and leave the washing machine and oven, it might actually work in our favour. As at some point in this move we would end up putting a considerable sum on a credit card. DP dosen't think it will work - if they can't get the cash for the mortgage then they can't get the cash for this (rather cheeky) idea. Anyone have any experience or ideas?

I know what you mean, once you've got your eye on what you want you want to get on with it. I didn't realise you were looking for 3-beds, oops!

Thanks Essbee. Maybe we can have a quick chat about it on Mon, without boring everyone else and so I don't have to detail it here too much, likewise you! I will put that kind of thing to them on weds, WCL. make the point to the agent and again reiterate that we are first time buyers, in a position to move in in a tight time frame etc. They are highly unlikely to find a buyer who decides to view and buy in 4 days are they?

If you don't get this one there will be others but I know it is sooooo disappointing, hang on in there!

Horfield one looks nice, as does patchway, although DP's family are snotty about that area. His sister is nearby atm and they dispair about the area she is in. Me and DP think its fine! Horfield is where my friend is atm, a lovely friend, although she wants to buy in Kingswood in a few months, which is another reason why I want my house! My other good friend is in St George, a school friend from Yeovil. Ohhh, I want that house! Help!

Sorry, Thanks Essbee, that will be great if you remember, not to worry if you are anything like me!
