Christmas List Angst

Ok, humour me here

DD has written her list to santa.

I have distributed it so that she has everything on there.

Normally, I buy the santa list then everyone else just gets whatever but different people are getting different items off the list.

Im regretting this way now as

  1. When she gets up on Christmas morning she is going to hardly have anything
  2. She wont know "santa" has got her what she asked for until possibly after boxing day by the time we have done the relatives rounds

Shall I

  1. get her some more from me so it doesnt look so empty?
  2. not do the above knowing that eventually she will know she got it even if she is a tad disappointed on xmas morning?

When my neices were young, my sister used to tell them that Santa has asked their aunty (me)/Grandmparents to look after some stuff til we saw them as he "forgot/couldn't" (change to appropriate to wording as you see fit) drop it all off at their house.

Or that he thought they would have so much, that they might like to wait an extra day or 2 for more surprises. So making Christmas last longer.

Do you think she might accept that?
