ignore my probing questions cod, why doncha?

Twiglett · 05/12/2005 11:26

I think you should invite her back to yours for coffee

and have loads of mums there

and make a point that 'your house your rules'

then cod-ify the child

I feel sorry for her, she is obviously socially challenged (is that the PC way of saying it?)

So for the mum. I wonder if she's well though? Her memory is appaling.

Aaaaargh at vulgar posh parents, I hope you told them they were?

I used to know a midwife who got all jumped up when she married a very posh Obstetrician. She used to get the local designer kids shop to open late just for her.

She used to just hate reminicing about her days on the wards with us plebs

yULeYSEES · 05/12/2005 11:36

I wonder how many people weirdy invited?

I'm weird but then so are my mates so that's ok

Ohhh cod, I think that's sad! It's almost the adult version of no one going to an odd child's birthday party!

I'd say she was probably acting even weird-er than usual because she feels so rejected.....

No, true, you did go, and I wasn't there and and. But the public pillorying - well I'm a softie as you said.

Maybe it's how it was done at the other school? Or how it was done by some mums who were socially successful at the other school, so she thought she'd start off this time doing it right? Had she done a sort of spread for you all? It's the gaucherie of it that makes me sorry for her ...

MascaraOHara · 05/12/2005 11:50

Oh no, I feel sorry for her too.

You could maybe send her a {{{hug}}} over text.

At least you went, you did get the right day didn't you?? maybe she was weird because she thought you had just turned up out of the blue expecting coffee and cakes! you cheeky mare.
