Fgs can't someone who is going through her own version of hell at the moment get some pleasure from her beautiful child What is wrong with that?

skinnycow · 17/11/2005 14:40

When ds1 was a year old I entered him into a comp, he didn't win but his photo was the picture chosen for the front page of the paper.

I was soooooo chuffed, far far better than actually winning, you should have seen me in WH smiths when I first saw his little chubby face staring back at me.

I have about 10 copies of the paper.

She is frowning a bit there.....actually cod may be right, lol

I soo agree! Spent the first year of my son's life feeling sorry for EVERYONE else as my son so exceptionally beautiful. Looking at old photos, he has had phases of really not good - and pretty! But I was convinced literally that he was the most handsome boy ever created. Looking at the photos on here, the kids are lovely - but very similar indeed to all other kids!!!!!!!!!!! It really depends on whether you like to put them up to be looked at for their looks only, whether you go for this sort of thing.

oliveoil · 17/11/2005 15:20

How dare you say that my child is average!

dexter · 17/11/2005 15:21

Hee hee. It's been the HARDEST lesson of my life to accept that indeed others are not going to fall over in the street, prostrated by the beauty of my boy........

dexter · 17/11/2005 15:23

just looked at your photo olivoil and have to say you both look lovely - thing that strikes me is what a strong character your girl looks - very intense expression!

oliveoil · 17/11/2005 15:31

she is a handful and only 15 months, god help me.

I still insist she is the most beautiful thing you ever did see, you must be blind.

ThomCat · 17/11/2005 15:34

Nope, mine's better!
I wouldn't expect anyone else to think so though

dexter · 17/11/2005 15:35

OK I admit it I am experiencing challenges with my sight your children are the most beautiful things on the planet. Am off to the optician, damn these glasses, knew something was wrong.

crunchie · 17/11/2005 15:36

I'm sorry you are all misguided my dd's were THE MOST beautiful children ever to grace this planet. They are child models don't you know COD

oliveoil · 17/11/2005 15:39

lol everyone.

You enter her in misdee, I won't so you can win.

x

misdee · 17/11/2005 16:13

actually i will admit that the baby having her pic taken after was more gorgeous, hopefully she wont be in the same set, she may be in the 12-36months section
