Anyone know of any websites/ publications for finding out whats going on in my area (west london)? I'm interested in baby yoga, mother and baby groups, baby massage, and anything to get me out of the house and meeting other new mums.

TIA

Whereabouts in west London are you?

Have you looked at Families magazine (I believe its called). I think it covers different areas. Try Googling, I don't think you can get it in a mag shop.

Hunkermunker - I'm near Ladbroke Grove, so easy access to the delights of Portobello, Notting Hill and Holland Park.

theres also netmums.com which has listings for different areas. The local councils have listings for mother and baby/toddler groups. The NCT runs coffee mornings and play sessions. Theres a group called west4kids that publishes a book of listings that is often sold in places like waterstones. They used to have a website but its not working at the moment. Your local health centre or hospital may run baby massage. Have a look on church notice boards as groups are often run in church halls. Look on library notice boards too. There are commercial things like tumbletots or crechendo when they are a bit more mobile. Most swmimming pools do baby swim sessions. If you are in ealing theres an under5s group who runs things and publish a listings booklet.(I can get you a number for that if its useful) Many cinemas have baby screenings when you can take your baby. I know the electric does this and brentford watermans. Check the national yoga organistation for yoga classes. Can't remember the name.

Ask on here about a specific area too as there will be someone from there no doubt.
